Arusha / Moshi to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast depart from Arusha and embark on an exciting journey to Tarangire National Park and enjoy a game drive in the afternoon. Tarangire is known for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, and various bird species. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty and spend the night at the Lodge.
Tarangire National Park – Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park. Everything you’ll see here is on a different scale. It is compact (one of the narrowest parks in Africa) and epic (the Great Rift Escarpment towers over Lake Manyara’s western boundary). The park’s namesake is a shallow, Salt Lake. It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is home to thousands of wading birds (including flamingos and over 500 other bird species). You may see baboons and elephants in the park’s thick evergreen forest, and watch for the tree-climbing lions that have become famous throughout Africa.
Karatu to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will drive up into the cooler regions of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There will be a chance to stop and see the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. You will then transit through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Serengeti, entering Central Serengeti Park.
The Serengeti is truly spectacular. It is famous for its vast open grasslands which allow for excellent sightings of wildlife. Whilst it boasts abundant wildlife, it is perhaps best known for the annual Great Migration. Vast numbers of wildebeest; zebra and antelope move in an annual pattern, constantly seeking fresh grazing. The migration can be found during any given month; you just need to know where to look!
Central Serengeti Full day
Full day in the Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible with your preferences and this day will be organized according to your wishes. On every day of the safari, your guide will discuss with you the best timings for you, including the game drives and the wake-up time. For example, on this day, you could do a morning game drive, return to the camp for a Hot lunch and relaxation and finish with an afternoon game drive, or do a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.
Serengeti National Park Full day
This entire day is set aside for game drives in the Serengeti. The Serengeti boasts an abundance of wildlife such as impala, buffalo, crocodile, and hippo. In addition to the iconic landscapes, you have a good chance of encountering predators and may see lions, cheetahs and leopards. Depending on the location of the Great Migration, you may venture away from the Central region to experience this natural wonder. It is a truly life-changing experience.
Serengeti National Park Full day
Start your full-day Serengeti game drive bright and early at sunrise, where the wildlife is most active. Your expert guide will lead you through the vast plains, tracking the Big Five and the Great Migration. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the stunning landscapes. In the afternoon, continue your adventure, observing the incredible diversity of wildlife that inhabits this iconic park. As the sun sets, head to your comfortable overnight camp within the Serengeti, where you can relax, savor a delicious dinner, and listen to the sounds of the wild before retiring for the night, preparing for another exciting day of exploration.
Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater
After an early breakfast, drive out of the Serengeti and on to Ngorongoro Crater for a game-viewing drive. Leave the captivating landscapes of Serengeti National Park behind as you embark on a journey to Ngorongoro Crater. Witness the seamless transition from the endless savannas of the Serengeti to the awe-inspiring caldera of Ngorongoro. Arrive at the crater rim and settle into your accommodation, surrounded by panoramic views. Prepare for an unforgettable game drive on the crater floor tomorrow, where you'll encounter diverse wildlife in this natural wonder.
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Embark on an early morning game drive within the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Witness a thriving ecosystem as you encounter diverse wildlife, including rhinos, lions, and various bird species, all framed by the crater's dramatic walls. After this enriching experience, begin your journey back to Arusha. As you traverse the landscapes one final time, reflect on the incredible safari memories you've collected. Arrive in Arusha, where your unforgettable wildlife adventure concludes, leaving you with cherished tales of the Tanzanian wilderness.
Departure Day
This is the final day of your safari, and you will enjoy a delicious breakfast before relaxing while waiting for your guide. Your guide will pick you up and take you to Kilimanjaro International Airport via Arusha for departure.
